Today is the first day back to school after a two week break. I usually find myself chomping at the bit to return to routine and this time it wasn't as much so.
I had two weeks where I entered into real rest. I took naps. I read books. I watched movies. I spent time with friends and family. I had good time learning in the Word. I had good talks. I ran as much as I did or did not want to with no restriction.
Mark 6:31- "And He said to them, "Come away by yourselves to a lonely place and rest a while."
I am thankful today for rest.
I am thankful that I woke up ready.
Every person has their own mission field and this morning I will walk back into mine. However, I'm not walking back in frustrated, tired, dragging, or bitter that we have to start back. I'm walking in ready and excited.
God did so much before my eyes last semester and I can't wait to see what He'll do this semester. I refuse to start back at square one but rather to pick up right where He left off. God desires for His children to know Him.
I'm praying for greater manifestation of Him through me. I'm praying for greater revelation of Him in my students. I am asking and believing that God will move in Liberty ISD.
Be Blessed, J. Tate
