What would happen if Jesus decided to be as faithful to you as you are to Him? I had a reality check of the faithfulness of God this morning.
2 Timothy 2:13 If we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself.
He is faithful. His love is unconditional and His commitment to me has been proven with His life. Jesus now lives to make intercession for us (Heb. 7:25). What if He decided to stop?
I thank God that He has the characteristic of faithfulness that will not change. That Jesus will continue to sit at the right hand of the Father interceding for me and it is not dependent on how faithful I choose to be today.
I've said it before, but it still rings inside of me, If I had a true revelation of the fact that Jesus was sitting right there next to Father God praying for me then what would I possibly fear? ... He is faithful.
How faithful am I? He gave it all and continues to intercede and work on my behalf. Do I choose to be faithful to Him?
Some thoughts for you this morning, Be Blessed, J. Tate
Also chewing on this verse lately... I want Jesus to reveal more of Himself to us.
"He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will disclose Myself to him." (John 14:21)
