This morning I climbed in my car to quickly hear the BLARING of my car radio. This is abnormal for me because I typically listen to music softly. So the music is blaring at the pinnacle of the chorus "I Won't Go Back, Can't Go back, to the way it used to be, before your presence came and changed me"
I turn it down and head to my destination then before long I have turned the music BACK UP as I am singing at the top of my lungs along with the song.
There is a moment where God came and changed me. I can identify several of those moments where He came and HE CHANGED ME... Those moments forever marked who I will be, how I relate to the Father, how I view myself, how I live, etc... My cry is... I WON'T GO BACK!!!
We know the enemy sets out to destroy the work God does in our lives. He will try to confuse, distort, and misrepresent those moments God came and changed you. Cry out... I won't go back.
Philippians 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Galatians 6:9 Do not grow wearing in doing good for in due time you will reap a harvest
Remind yourself of all God has done for you, refresh your memories of Christ coming in and changing you, meditate, remember, thank Him... and say "I WON'T GO BACK".. I encourage you to take the time to write down, journal, etc. those moments so that you will always have them to look back. That simple act has been invaluable for me.
Be Blessed, J. Tate
